One of our designers will visit your home and will discuss in depth:
- your family dynamics
- lifestyles and routines around eating
- how you would like to envision using your new space.
Your designer will use this information in order to begin conceptualizing your project and to consider possible design opportunities. At the conclusion of the meeting the space will be measured and photographed from which a design concept will be developed and budgeted.
In home free design service includes:
- consultation – in showroom
- in-home measurements
- initial design
A design deposit will be required for further revisions. All deposits will be credited towards the purchase of your new cabinets.
Our designers are 20/20 certified to present the best possible, computer generated design available on the market. Your designer will present the conceptual ideas she or he has developed. In response to this presentation questions may be raised to further reveal your needs and design requirements. You will have the opportunity to discuss the designer’s layout to make needed adjustments.
A Project Development Fee may be required at this time depending on the scope of your project. If you are required to pay a kitchen design or development fee, this fee will act as a credit towards the purchase of your cabinets. There will be a face to face meeting where your salesperson/designer will review over design, pricing, and scheduling with customer. During this meeting it is not uncommon to go right into Phase IV which is the contract phase.
At this meeting you will review all the final documentation including: floor plans, elevations, interpretive drawings, written specifications and contractdocuments. All product selections will be listed as well as anticipated start and completion dates. The contract will reflect total project cost and payment schedule. You, the customer, will sign off on all documents and specifications.
When the contract is signed you, the customer, will be responsible for a payment of 50% of materials in order to make material order.
We communicate as clearly as to when cabinet deliveries will be possible. We do our utmost to work around your schedule. It is most important that you are available when deliveries are to be made. For many of our projects, Charleston Cabinetry and Countertops, typically let you will know 48 hours in advance to set up arrangements. We are typically given a window of about 2-4 hours for the delivery.
When cabinets are delivered customer will pay to CCC the remaining 50% due for the materials. No portion of the install will be due at this time.
Our team will do our best to work as fast and smoothly as possible to make sure every part of this process is efficient and completed correctly. Most projects take between 3-14 days, depending on the scope of the work to be done.
While we specialize in the cabinetry aspect of kitchens, we also help customers with the coordination of plumbers, electricians, and other professionals needed to complete your kitchen.
We understand that it is difficult for customers being without a kitchen and therefore we try to make the process as smooth and efficient as possible. If at all possible we try to arrange the tear out for the day before the cabinets are scheduled to deliver so we are ready for install when the cabinets arrive.
Customers will be responsible for various portions of payment throughout this process. Our sales/design team will explain these during the contract meeting.
